Ian Nal
Account Executive
After completing double degrees in Biology and Mathematics from Regis University in Denver, Ian returned home to Belize where he worked in the Ministry of Finance and the Belize Tourism Board. He was employed as a Statistician. He did significant work in collecting and distributing data to stakeholders in tourism industry. With the assistance of CTO, he conducted border expenditure surveys which was important in understanding the impact of tourism on the economy.
He was then the sole recipient of the prestigious Audrey Palmer Hawks Scholarship which was offered throughout all Caribbean countries. This program led him to attend The Hotel School at Cornell University where he studied Tourism and Marketing.
After school in Ithaca, he moved to New York City where he worked for the Caribbean Tourism Organization and Travel + Leisure magazine.
Ian worked in hospitality at numerous fine dining establishments in NYC with acclaimed and lauded chefs. However, he always maintained a presence in the Travel Tourism industry by working with the PM Group. He was the Account Executive for Anguilla and worked on other accounts such as Antigua and South Africa.
Additionally, Ian is a beverage professional and a certified Sommelier. He is adept at creating craft cocktails and has numerous national press mentions as well.
