Chief Entertainment & Music Officer
With more than 20 years of experience, Ray is a veteran powerhouse in music, marketing, and entertainment.
Ray co-founded Designey, Inc., becoming one of the most influential design and marketing firms in New York City. From designing, marketing, creating logos, and branding for major designer labels and television and music companies, Designey Inc. created a new standard of excellence among design and marketing agencies.
Soon after, Ray launched the success of Latin Urban Music in the US through companies like UBO (Urban Box Office) and Latinflava. He created a non-traditional distribution system to get music to over 10,000 bodegas and variety shops at an affordable price in NYC. Bridging the gap between corporate America and Latin music labels was a matter of working with companies such as Heineken, American Express, Honda, and Mastercard. He has also consulted for US Starcom, Sprint PCS, Verizon, and Bell Latino with regards to bringing music, money, and minutes under one card.
Ray’s experience spans the likes of Sony, Epic, Wu-Tang Clan, Rocawear, Wu-Wear, Avirex, Disney, A&E, History Channel, Puma, Champion, 2004 Olympic Games, Sprite and Adidas.
Additionally, Ray has been the EVP & GM of Wu Music Group since 2005, but has been leading the marketing and branding for Wu Tang Clan since the inception of their legendary logo in 1995, when he designed the “W” now representing the most influential Hip Hop group in history.
In the early 90’s, Ray co-founded the United AIDS Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money for research in medicine to help find a cure for AIDS. In 2014, he founded the Stop Bullying Tour, where the influential world of pop culture stands united and responds to the global epidemic of bullying, especially since the social media boom.
In joining the PM Group team, Ray aims to merge travel and entertainment in an even more innovative way injected with music to create the perfect destination package.
